Abolish ICE; Chuck Schumer isn't rising to the moment

What Chuck Schumer is referring to as "commonsense reforms" for ICE are in fact deeply inadequate; he's calling for a cowardly return to a status quo that we now know very well is unjust, the status quo that led to many police killings of unarmed Black people years before ICE was daily headline news. Those who marched on January 30th, and those who are in the streets protecting their neighbors from ICE, are not asking for Chuck Schumer's "commonsense reforms." We're demanding the end of ICE. I will not vote to reelect a senator who doesn't get behind this, and if Chuck Schumer can't get behind it too, you and your colleagues should install new leadership.
