Stop the President & his Administration from Declaring War-No one wants any war
To: Rep. Messmer, Sen. Banks, Sen. Young
From: A verified voter in Mount Vernon, IN
December 17
As you know, the president does not have the power to take us into war.
That power is reserved for Congress.
The president has been misusing our navy to commit acts of war against Venezuela, a country that has not attacked the United States.
In a social media post, the president lied that Venezuela had taken American land in a pathetic attempt to justify his illegal acts of war against Venezuela.
We all remember the last time an administration lied us into a war.
We’re still paying the price for our foolish invasion of Iraq, and the world is no safer.
But our oligarchs made a pile of money.
It’s past time for Congress to assert its constitutional authority to check the president.
Do not let him start a war with Venezuela.
And release the unredacted Epstein files.
Thank you- it is of the upmost importance that you take this extremely seriously and act now!
