Please understand that our entire economy is based off immigrants. Having ICE remove these essential workers will seriously damage our economy. With the prices of basic necessities (groceries, toiletries, basic household items) increasing due to tariffs, we need to sustain our economy more than ever. Immigrants are the workers who do the hard, back breaking labor. They are the ones working 4 times as hard as you or I to keep things afloat. I don't know about you, but it's a WHOLE lot easier to make a sandwich by getting the ingredients out of my fridge than harvesting the lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, onions, excetera. Yea I could garden and have produce, but it's Wisconsin! Our weather is never cooperative, and the critters in my neighborhood show no mercy for anything growing in a pot.
Immigrants are what makes it easy to make a sandwich for lunch. Immigrants are what makes the prices low. Immigrants are the backbone of our country, and have been since we became a country.
