I am writing out of deep embarrassment and growing anger at the continued unprofessional, childish, and degrading behavior of the President of the United States—and your deafening silence in response to it. Yesterday, at a Ford factory, President Trump reportedly interacted with a worker by flipping him off and said, “f*** you, f*** you!” This is not locker-room talk. This is not a private moment. This is the President of the United States, in public, representing this country on a national stage. It is humiliating. This behavior would get any ordinary American fired immediately. It would disqualify any leader in a workplace, a classroom, or the military. Yet when it comes from the highest office in the land, Congress shrugs, looks away, or hides behind party loyalty. Enough. The presidency is not a reality TV show. It is not a barroom brawl. It is not a platform for profanity, insults, and obscene gestures toward American workers. The office demands maturity, restraint, and basic human decency. Right now, it is getting none of that—and the American people are the ones paying the price in global credibility and national shame. Silence from Congress is not neutrality. It is complicity. You are elected to provide oversight, uphold standards, and defend the dignity of this country. When the President behaves like a petulant child on the world stage, it is your duty to say so—clearly, publicly, and without cowardice. I am embarrassed. I am angry. And I am tired of watching Congress pretend this is normal. It is not. Speak out. Do your jobs. Defend the dignity of the United States of America. From an embarrassed and fed-up American!
