Upon returning from a family camping trip and easing back into our weekly routine, I was afraid to check social media and catch up on the news. Our camping trips embody everything I love about this country. The news about my country shows an idea, a culture that does not reflect anything I recognize. I have to repeat what I have previously said the Big Beautiful Bill (H.R. 1) is dangerous for this country. It allows the richest 0.01% of the population to loot our country to enrich only themselves on the backs of working class people. As a mom of two, it's hard not to feel a sense of dread when I think about what the future holds for my kids. Please do everything you can to stop this bill AND put a check on executive power.
