I’m a member of Indivisible Westside LA and a constituent from Santa Monica. The unilateral strike on Venezuela on Saturday, January 3, 2026, was yet another blatant overreach of authority by President Trump. Congress failed to act in June 2025 when Trump once again violated the War Powers Act in a unilateral strike on Iran, and it failed to act last month when it did not impeach Donald Trump for inciting violence against sitting members of Congress. Trump's illegal and unconstitutional actions will continue as long as he remains in office. I demand that you condemn this unconstitutional act by the President and immediately call for the impeachment of Donald J. Trump. You must use every tool you have to stop him from enacting his worst instincts. Thank you for your time and attention.
