Chairman Comer has requested a transcribed interview with President Biden’s former physician to evaluate his mental fitness. If Congress is going to scrutinize the health of a former president, it must apply the same standard to the current one. In April 2025, President Trump’s physical was released by White House physician Capt. Sean Barbabella, stating he is 6’3”, 224 pounds, in “excellent health,” and scored 30/30 on a cognitive test. However: • Trump’s 2012 driver’s license listed him at 6’2”. • At 78 years old, he has reportedly grown an inch and lost 20 pounds without visible changes or documented effort. • The report did not include independent verification, neurological imaging, or third-party oversight. • There has been no congressional inquiry into this physical or the physician who authored it. Additionally, President Trump has exhibited ongoing public behavior that raises questions about cognitive stability: • Repeatedly posting conspiracy theories and making false claims about election fraud • Rambling and disjointed speeches, often veering off-script • Public moments of confusion, including forgetting names, slurred speech, and reportedly “resting his eyes” during meetings • Declaring he can make decisions unilaterally—including saying “I can do whatever I want”—despite constitutional limits on executive power If Congress is serious about evaluating presidential fitness, it must begin with the individual currently holding office. I urge you to: • Subpoena Capt. Sean Barbabella for questioning • Request the full medical records behind the 2025 exam • Apply the same level of oversight to CURRENT PRESIDENT Trump as is being proposed for PAST PRESIDENT Biden This is not about politics—it’s about national security and public trust.
