As a citizen deeply concerned about the preservation of our public lands, I urge you to VOTE NO on the amendment authorizing the sale of federal lands in Nevada and Utah. These lands belong to all Americans and are a vital part of our shared natural heritage. Allowing their sale or transfer risks exploiting and degrading these precious resources for short-term gains. The federal government has been entrusted with managing these lands for the benefit of current and future generations. Privatizing or selling them off opens the door to unchecked development, resource extraction, and destruction of pristine wilderness areas and habitats. We have a responsibility to safeguard these lands and ensure they remain accessible to all for recreation, ecological preservation, and sustainable use. Instead of pursuing land sales, we should focus on thoughtful land management policies that balance conservation, responsible resource use, and public access. These public lands are a national treasure that must be protected for the enjoyment and well-being of all Americans. I urge you to stand up for our public lands and reject this misguided amendment.
