Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz like a toll booth on the world economy. If Trump escalates this into the catastrophe he's threatening, oil prices will skyrocket overnight. Gas will hit $6, $7, maybe $10 a gallon. Grocery prices will surge as transportation costs explode. Supply chains will collapse. We're talking about an economic crisis that makes current inflation look like a minor inconvenience. The Cabinet can invoke the 25th Amendment. Congress can censure him, investigate him, or cut off funding for military action against Iran. Speak out and make the connection to the economy crystal clear every opportunity you get.
