Do everything in your power to end this illegal, unnecessary war with Iran

I am writing to urge you to stop this Republican administration’s illegal war with Iran before any land invasion by U.S. soldiers. Sending American troops to Kharg Island would be an utter catastrophe. This administration has openly stated its aim to seize the island. In response, Iran has mined the island and moved weapons and troops to the area to defend it. Iran has created a killing zone and is waiting for our servicemembers to step into it. Any land invasion of Iran will result in thousands of U.S. servicemembers dying needlessly, for the sole purpose of this administration scoring political points. The lives of our soldiers are worth more than that. You and your congressional colleagues have the power to stop this war and save American lives. Why are you not doing so? My wife and I urge you to do everything in your power to end this unnecessary war with Iran.
