Medicare Advantage is ripping off taxpayers by promoting itself as the same thing as Medicare. Giant insurance companies like Cigna, United Healthcare & Aetna ripped off our tax dollars last year to the tune of an estimated $140 billion over and above what it would’ve cost us if people had simply been on real Medicare, according to a report (https://substack.com/redirect/8840f4d6-6468-4f9d-85b0-950d280d667f?j=eyJ1IjoiMmM2M3YifQ.o_FpkZjeJSYVqAYyZ0LPt9-VEFjqPJmP7GgtHNYFymo) from Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP). And who is helping these mega rich corporations spin their lies about their products? Medicare itself promotes these plans to seniors every year when they try to sign up for traditional Medicare.
