I am writing you again to ask you to ask Governor Whitmer activate the National Guard ASAP, and no later than April 20th, before the Insurrection Act can be invoked by President Trump. My children’s father is in the National Guard. This issue hits close to home for me. I am deeply concerned that Trump will try to use the Guard against Michigan’s residents, especially at protests. Since the National Guard cannot be activated twice, this would help protect them from unconstitutional orders, and us from harm. Help protect us! Thank you for considering.
