Senators,
You were elected to represent the people of Kansas — not corporate donors, not political extremists, and certainly not those seeking to strip away basic rights and protections from ordinary Kansans. If you support the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill,” then you are failing us.
This bill will do irreparable harm: slashing healthcare, weakening food assistance, stripping environmental protections, threatening public education, and selling off land that belongs to all of us. It will hurt our most vulnerable — children, the elderly, the disabled, and working families — while enriching those who already have more than enough.
I am one of those vulnerable Kansans. I am disabled. My young daughter is disabled. We rely on community infrastructure, public programs, and basic human dignity. This bill threatens our lives and futures.
Voting for this bill would make clear where your loyalties lie — and it is not with the people you were elected to serve. We are watching. We are remembering. And we will hold you accountable.
Oppose this bill. Speak out publicly. Stand with Kansans. Or step aside for those who will.
