The Inflation Reduction Act is a crucial step towards a sustainable future, fostering domestic manufacturing, lowering emissions, and promoting clean energy. Repealing its programs could have severe repercussions, potentially increasing US energy bills by $6 billion annually by 2030 and costing nearly 790,000 jobs in the same year, according to expert projections. In an era of rising energy demands, clean energy provides the most cost-effective and rapidly deployable solution for new electricity generation. Slashing investments in these vital projects would undermine our ability to meet our energy needs while jeopardizing economic growth and environmental progress. We must prioritize the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act to safeguard our energy security, create jobs, and pave the way for a clean energy future.
