Urgent action needed: Stop bombing Gaza, deliver humanitarian aid
To: Pres. Biden
From: A constituent in Middleboro, MA
November 1, 2024
Palestinians in Gaza are facing a dire humanitarian crisis fueled by the relentless bombing campaign. The loss of civilian lives, including many children, is unconscionable. We must act urgently to stop further loss of life and prevent an escalation of this deadly conflict. I urge you to use your position to call for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of protected safe zones in Gaza. Additionally, humanitarian aid and medical supplies must be allowed to enter Gaza through the Rafah crossing to provide relief to those impacted. The international community has a moral obligation to protect civilians and ensure the safe delivery of aid. Furthermore, the United States should halt the flow of money and weapons to Israel that allows this genocidal assault to continue. Your leadership is critical in pressuring all parties to deescalate and prioritize human lives over partisan interests. The devastating toll on the people of Gaza cannot be ignored. Please take decisive action to end this assault.
