Trump and Vance's shameful bullying of Zelenskyy during their White House meeting was an embarrassment to America and a betrayal of our values. As the leader of the free world, the United States has a moral obligation to support Ukraine in its courageous fight against Russia's unprovoked invasion and authoritarianism. Instead of honoring our commitment to democracy and sovereignty, Trump chose to bow to Putin's criminal regime once again. This cowardly display undermines America's standing on the global stage and emboldens our adversaries. We cannot allow Trump's corrupt self-interest and fragile ego to undermine our national security and the principles we claim to uphold. It is imperative that we continue providing robust military, economic, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine until Russia's forces are fully expelled from their sovereign territory. Failing to do so would not only betray a crucial ally but also signal to authoritarian regimes worldwide that the United States lacks the resolve to defend freedom and human rights. As Americans, we must demand leadership that prioritizes our democratic values over petty political grievances and personal enrichment. Ukraine's fight is our fight, and we must meet this pivotal moment in history with unwavering courage and moral clarity.
