The fact that you think the correct solution to your constituents living on the streets in our state is to steal their belongings and throw them out tells me you're a heartless monster. That you will hire a professional photographer to take photo ops of you picking up some of what your thugs left behind when they executed these orders tells me that you do not realize you're a monster.
The solution to people living on the streets is not punishing them by taking away what little belongings they've managed to hold onto despite our housing market being literally insane. It is to provide them shelter. You do this by doing whatever you can to ensure that *affordable* housing is built. Most of those people living on the streets once owned or rented houses in those same neighborhoods, many of them still even hold down jobs in the area, and you treat them like strangers? You treat them like outsiders? You abuse them?
What is wrong with you.
Stop with these homeless sweeps — they're inhuman and abusive. Focus on building affordable housing, focus on addressing the greed of landlords jacking rents way up, focus on how most people can not afford to buy a home these days because so many investment companies sweep in and buy up the houses to instead either flip or rent out at insanely jacked up prices.
You address homelessness by putting people into homes, not by sweeping it under the rug by abusing people.
