As a veteran, I find these new rules allowing VA doctors to refuse treatment based on veterans' personal characteristics and political beliefs extremely disturbing. I urge you to take immediate action to rescind these unethical policies. Veterans have made immense sacrifices to uphold the rights and freedoms of all Americans. We must ensure the VA remains a safe, inclusive environment where every veteran can receive the care they need and deserve without fear of prejudice or denial of services. Preserving the integrity of the VA healthcare system and safeguarding the wellbeing of our nation's heroes should be of utmost priority.
