House Bill 186 is not as good of a bill as it sounds. I grew up with a very controlling mother. Free speech did not exist when I was growing up. Social media was the only way I could have a voice. This bill is nothing but controlling, and takes away a minor’s outlet to free speech. It is not the government’s job to stop minors from being able to access social media. That is the job of a parent, or a guardian. This bill will put kids in abusive households in danger, and will lead to minors taking their own lives because they wouldn’t have an outlet if this bill passes. End HB 186 today!
