Uphold democracy, reject billionaires' influence over Congress

The influence of wealthy individuals and corporations in our political system is deeply concerning and undermines democratic principles. The fact that a billionaire can say he doesn't like the debt ceiling and that elected representatives capitulate to wealth is concerning. The proposal to install an unelected billionaire like Elon Musk as Speaker of the House is an affront to the foundational values of our republic and the notion of government by and for the people. You should represent your constituents, not billionaires that don't even live in Missouri. We must reject such attempts to concentrate power in the hands of the ultra-rich and reinforce the precedent that positions of leadership should be held by duly elected representatives accountable to their constituents. Our elected officials have a solemn duty to safeguard the integrity of our institutions and ensure equal representation for all citizens, not cater to the whims of the privileged few. It is imperative that we take immediate action to curtail the corrosive impact of money in politics and reclaim our democracy from the grip of powerful special interests. The will of the people must prevail over the ambitions of the wealthy elite. I want to know that you're willing to pass a bipartisan debt ceiling deal that both sides had agreed on before Elon Musk complained, and I want to know you represent me, a constituent, and not big money.
