This is not common sense--it's voter disenfranchisement. It has been illegal for noncitizens to vote since 1924. Fines and penalities, including imporisonment, have been in place since 1996. Noncitizens *already* face up to five years in federal prison for even attempting to REGISTER to vote. Study
