President Trump is already acting like an infallible king and we’re not even three months in. He doesn’t appear to know how our government works and is doing everything he can to remove the three branches of government. We have these branches for a reason. Targeting the judiciary and legislative branches so the executive is all that matters gives us a monarchy, not a democracy. You need to do what you were elected to do and protect the Constitution and in turn, our country. We are a country without a king, we are a country founded on religious freedom, we are a country that respects others. Congress holds the purse strings. Congress approves and allocates the budget. Not Elon Musk and Doge. Is there waste and fraud within the government, of course. Is firing people without investigation and without reason the way to fix it? NO. Is cancelling contracts we’ve already paid anyway the way to fix it? No. Is shutting down entire departments without proper investigation the way to fix it? No. SSA has audits all the time and has next to no fraud. This is should not be the focal point. Maybe start with DOD, who never pass their audits. Maybe tell the President that if he wants to go golfing every week, it needs to be on his own dime. Maybe don’t let him waste millions on a ‘military parade’ to appease his ego. Work on actually lowering the budget instead of asking for an increase. Put a stop to the game being played with tariffs and ruining not only citizens lives, but our countries relationship with the rest of the world. * * *
