This year’s Cyclospora outbreak is just another symptom of a broken system. DOGE gutted federal agencies. The President nominated unqualified candidates and the Congress approved those nominees. This is harming all of us. Republicans are in control of all branches of the federal government and most refuse to even speak up. How bad do things have to get before Congress acts in any meaningful way? It’s disgraceful and unconscionable!
