I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with your ongoing failure to address the urgent needs of Texans. It is clear that the voices of your constituents are falling on deaf ears, as your actions—or lack thereof—have done little to improve the lives of the people you were elected to serve.
Instead of focusing on the critical issues that affect every Texan, such as strengthening our fragile infrastructure, ensuring the reliability of our power grids, lowering taxes, and addressing the skyrocketing cost of living, you’ve chosen to waste time and resources on divisive political stunts. Your attempts to infringe upon our freedom of religion by pushing for the display of the Ten Commandments in public schools is not only unconstitutional but a blatant disregard for the diversity of beliefs that make up our great state.
Furthermore, your relentless push for school vouchers instead of properly funding public education undermines the principle of equal opportunity for all children. Texas students deserve better. Our public schools need support, resources, and investment—not policies that siphon funds away in favor of private interests.
Your priorities are clear, and they do not reflect the needs or desires of the people you claim to represent. We are watching. We are fed up. And we will vote.
I look forward to seeing new leadership that actually listens, acts, and puts the people of Texas first.
