I am writing to express my deep concern over the misconduct of HHS head Robert F. Kennedy Jr. His recent actions demonstrate a clear pattern of abuse of office, disregard for public health, and ethical misconduct, all of which merit immediate impeachment proceedings. Since taking office, RFK Jr. has used his position to spread dangerous health disinformation while maintaining financial ties to anti-vaccine organizations and refusing to recuse himself from lawsuits that could personally benefit him. This behavior represents a serious conflict of interest and undermines the trust and integrity expected of public officials. Even more alarming is the structural damage he has inflicted on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Under his leadership, key disease surveillance and response teams have been dismantled, including groups responsible for monitoring emerging infections, disease outbreaks, and early warning systems. This has severely weakened our national ability to detect and respond to biological threats in real time. By gutting the agencies and systems designed to warn us about emerging pathogens and epidemics, RFK Jr. has left the nation exposed and vulnerable to crises such as the emerging threat of deadly avian flu (H5N1). These are not partisan concerns—they are matters of national safety. RFK Jr.'s actions are not just irresponsible; they are dangerous. I urge you to uphold your constitutional duty to protect the American people and support impeachment proceedings before irreversible damage is done.
