Please very carefully consider the nominee Russell Vought for director of the OMB. I’m very worried that Vought will stop payments on bills Congress has already approved. I don’t think he will have the country’s best interests in mind. Congress should control how budgetary funds are allocated, issued, and spent…not Vought. Are you kidding me? The people currently displaced by the war in Gaza own their homeland. This struggle for their homeland has been going on for YEARS. Israel and/or the US has no right to develop this land. The people should not be moved to neighboring countries during reconstruction. Allowing the US to “develop” this seaside strip of land sounds like an obscene developmental proposal. I’m abhorred by this proposal. Do not let Donald Trump have his way on this issue. We may end up with troops there or engaging in ongoing conflict. BUT, that’s not my #1 concern. It is simply WRONG! DJT is trying to upend our system of investigation and law enforcement. Who will be put in their place. DJT picks, to have ultimate control of the government? Their firing is unjust. Their names should not be made public. Private militia, Oath Keepers, and Proud Boys could absolutely target these people. We don’t need these types of militias taking over our police force either nationally or locally. We are on our way to a police state. Is this what you want to happen? We need independent public media. Our news cannot be controlled by our government. This is what V. Orban did in Hungary as he turned the country into a dictatorship. This is what was done in Germany in the 1930’s and 1940’s. If government has control of the media, we the people will not be fed unbiased news. Russia and China completely control the media, all of it. I want access to many viewpoints, not just governmentally biased information. Are you, as our elected representatives, aware of the kind of government Venezuela, Argentina, and Chile in the past? North Korea and Honduras RIGHT NOW? Protect us from misinformation as we make our way to dictatorship. If you think that is not happening, your eyes are willfully closed. Why?
