Consolidation of Power

To: Rep. LaMalfa, Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff

From: A verified voter in Redding, CA

October 17, 2025

To: Representative LaMalfa CC: Senators Padilla and Schiff Why are you abdicating your role? Why allow Trump to consolidate power and control the purse? This is authoritarianism and you have just laid down for it. I do not feel represented by you. I do not feel safe. The tenets of our democracy are being destroyed one-by-one and you are allowing it. Do better before it is too late. Do better.
