I am writing to you today to urge you to pass universal healthcare in Illinois. Health is vital to success in every other area of life, and as the federal administration is slashing Medicaid and Medicare, healthcare for Illinoisans is more important than ever. I myself am putting off several treatments because I cannot afford them at the moment even though I work full time and have insurance. Please protect our seniors, our children and our working families by passing healthcare today.
