Ban Glyphosate Now

To: Gov. Cox, Rep. Dunnigan, Sen. Curtis, Rep. Owens, Sen. Lee, Pres. Trump, Sen. Harper

From: A verified voter in West Jordan, UT

Ban glyphosate. The evidence linking this herbicide to cancer, soil degradation, and harm to pollinators has been mounting for years, and continued inaction is a choice to prioritize agrochemical industry profits over public health. I want you to introduce or co-sponsor legislation that prohibits the sale and use of glyphosate-based herbicides in this state. The International Agency for Research on Cancer classified glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen back in 2015. Dozens of countries have already moved to restrict or ban it outright. We are behind, and every season we delay means more exposure for farmworkers, families, and children. This is not a fringe concern — it is a mainstream public health issue that demands legislative action now.
