Pass legislation now to reroute federal tax dollars through our state and withhold them until the federal government restores lawful electoral conditions. The DOJ is building a national voter database without statutory authority, running 47 million voters through a repurposed immigration system called SAVE, and suing states that refuse to hand over driver's license numbers and partial Social Security numbers. This is not election integrity — it's infrastructure for overturning results the administration doesn't like.
The contrast with 2020 is stark. Then, fraud claims came from outside government and were rejected by AG Barr, DOJ officials, and 60 federal judges. Now the claims come from inside the DOJ, stamped with federal authority, generated by a database built on data that DOGE moved to unapproved servers — and the SSA admits it cannot account for what was taken. At least 11 Trump administration election officials have ties to Cleta Mitchell's Election Integrity Network. Mitchell was on the call when Trump told Brad Raffensperger to "find 11,780 votes."
Our state has leverage. Use it. Federal dollars flowing through state hands are a negotiating tool, and right now that tool is sitting unused while federal agencies dismantle the protections that make elections real. Don't wait for the Supreme Court to save us — it won't. Build the legal and financial firewall at the state level before the next election makes the stakes undeniable.
