I'm calling because I understand Democrats will soon be holding leadership elections. I want to make clear that I have no faith in Chuck Schumer / Hakeem Jeffries to do the job we need. There is so much talent in this caucus, and so many lawmakers who have shown they know how to fight, how to message, and how to inspire us. Schumer / Jeffries is not one of them. We have a deep, amazing, diverse bench. If you want to keep us the people who just delivered you a historic victory-happy, you will choose new leadership. Don't squander the goodwill you've just built up. Thanks.
