Abolish the death penalty in CA

To: Sen. Arreguín, Gov. Newsom, Asm. Wicks

From: A verified voter in El Cerrito, CA

October 20

The death penalty is barbaric, backwards, and wrong. There are many cases of wrongful judgement and, let’s face it, death is the easy way out. A life behind bars is a stronger punishment. Abolish the death penalty in California so we can lead the way for America.
