To the Members of the United States Congress:
You took a solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. I am writing to demand that you honor that oath and maintain the institutional integrity of the legislative branch during this election cycle.
Under Article I, Section 5, Congress holds the absolute, exclusive mandate to act as the ultimate arbiter of the elections, returns, and qualifications of its own members. This authority is not a mere procedural formality; it is a vital structural firewall designed to ensure that the legislative branch remains entirely independent from the overreach of both the executive and judicial branches.
You must fulfill this solemn duty. Abdicating this responsibility—whether yielding to external political pressure, executive interference, or judicial intervention—is a direct violation of your constitutional mandate and a surrender of congressional independence.
Let there be no confusion: the American electorate is watching, and you will be held strictly responsible for how you execute this duty. History and the voters will not forgive those who choose political expediency over their sworn constitutional obligations.
The American republic relies on the separation of powers. Defend the independence of your institution. Do your job.
Sincerely,
