senate_both Don’t Let the Trump/Musk Regime Silence Public Media. Public-media dollars translate into rural warning systems, preschool literacy, and an informed electorate. Public broadcasting’s mission is bluntly simple: “Build an informed, engaged, and curious public.” Defunding it advances no civic goal; it merely turns down the volume on voices that are already under-amplified.
