I’m reading that you and your colleagues have now passed a budget that gives billionaires and billionaire corporations huge tax cuts at our expense! So at a time where Oklahomans will be paying more on all goods thanks to tariffs, you support a plan that gives billionaires tax cuts at our expense! Not only does it blow up the deficit but it will mean cuts to Medicaid, snap, Medicare and social security! Speaking of fraud, waste and abuse, giving billionaires tax tax cuts while the majority of Oklahomans suffer, is the epitome of a scam. We were lied to. We were told we would see a better economy! We were told things would get easier. We were told social security, Medicare and Medicaid wouldn’t be touched. We were scammed! If you cut Snap, whoever a child in Oklahoma goes hungry, we will hold you responsible! If nursing homes close or Seniors are moved out of nursing homes because of cuts to Medicaid, we will hold you responsible. When hospitals close thanks to Medicaid cuts, we will hold you responsible. When the disabled, can’t get mental health care thanks to Medicaid cuts, we will hold you responsible. When seniors can’t make ends meet due to cuts in social security, we will hold you responsible. When seniors can’t afford healthcare due to cuts in Medicare, we will hold you responsible. When Oklahomans suffer and you do nothing more than pass a tax plan that gives billionaires and billionaire corporations tax cuts, we will hold you responsible. When the deficit blows up by trillions, we will hold you responsible. You aren’t working on our behalf. You aren’t standing up for us. And as we suffer, we will hold you accountable! You can count on that. We do care about each other even if you don’t. Shame on you Senator Lankford.
