I just sent this to our Congress people. Does this type of activity violate any state or interstate commerce laws? If so, NY Tax Payers should not have to bear the cost of these unethical decisions. My open letter, based on NY Times reporting, is below. Graft: Kristi Noam, William Walters & Daedalus & Pillaging the American Tax Payer must be investigated. $900 Million of wasted tax payer dollars for unneeded and unused aircraft. The public deserves answers, particularly at a time with our national debt crisis. No bid contacts have no place in our government. Subpoena emails, phone logs, bank statements, and audit these bad actors. Something is not right here. Create legislation holding officials AND counterparties, including the ultimate beneficial owners (warm bodies) responsible for not following protocol. This behavior and these individuals must be made an example. Martha Stewart went to jail for a c.$45,000 trade. This is a multi-million dollar scheme that fleeced us, the tax payer.
