Hi, I'm a constituent calling from Santa Monica (90405) and a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles.
With another extremely dangerous hurricane barreling towards Florida, it’s clear that FEMA needs more than the $20 billion authorized by Congress as part of the stopgap funding bill. The Small Business Administration’s disaster loan program has run out of money so Congress needs to come back into session and pass more funding for these vital programs.
It is imperative that you and your office publicly condemn Donald Trump’s dangerous disinformation campaign about FEMA, as he’s putting people in real danger.
Speaking of which, Elon Musk, a government contractor, continues to personally spread disinformation and allow it to run rampant on his social media platform, X. It is past time to revoke this man’s government privileges as he is a threat to American national security, safety and democracy and I request that you push to remove him from the taxpayers’ payroll.
Thank you for your time and attention.
