I’m writing as a deeply concerned citizen about what looks like an outright coup by Elon Musk under the so-called "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE). We did not vote for him, yet he has gained access to the U.S. Treasury, Social Security numbers, and federal payments. This is beyond alarming—it’s illegal. No president can just create a new government department like this, and certainly not hand over financial and personal data to a billionaire with no oversight. Yet, it seems like many in Congress are staying quiet or even going along with it. Are our representatives protecting the people, or are they bending the knee to this power grab to protect themselves? If that’s not the case, then I ask: What specific legal actions are you taking to stop this? What are you doing to secure our government systems, our personal information, and our country’s financial future? Silence is not an option. Please respond with clear actions being taken to hold Musk accountable and prevent this blatant overreach. The American people deserve answers.
