Dear Senator Cornyn, You are highly educated: Trinity University (BA) St. Mary's University (JD) University of Virginia (LLM) You were a judge: Texas 37th Judicial District Court A Justice: Texas Supreme Court The top Attorney for the State: Texas AG You have been a US SENATOR for 24 yrs. You have risen to be on select committees: Committee on Finance Committee on the Judiciary Select Committee on Intelligence Committee on Foreign Relations and Committee on the Budget. Yet, with all that experience and education, you refused to acknowledge the obvious. I’m an elementary teacher with a BA in English and minor in Political Science from McMurry College (now university in Abilene). As a native Texan with farm and ranch roots in maternal grandfather, uncles and aunts in Texas and Oklahoma, I was taught to spot people who were disingenuous liars. I saw it in 2015. Maybe you did, too. It’s hard to say. It’s obvious that you thought you could tiptoe through the minefield. Perhaps the hubris that comes with success blinded you. You just didn’t understand the pathology. Now, the proverbial leopard has eaten your face. You put it all on black in a desperate attempt to save your seat and lost. Now, do important things in your last seven months. Prepare your legacy.
