Free e-bikes - A frivolus program with poor choices and mis-management. I am upset that, as reported in the Seattle Times, the state of Washington wants to spend 4 million dollars to provide e-bikes to low income people. This pilot program has been in the works for 2 years. The article explains an expectation that only 60% of funds will go towards the bikes for low income people. So...the other 40% has been used to pay people to run the program? This is frivolity when this state has a budget shortfall. This program should be cancelled and people hired to run the program lay-ed off. Remaining funds returned to the budget.
