As a Kansas constituent, I am urging you to vote NO on HR 1. This bill will add 3.3 trillion dollars to the deficit by providing a tax cut to the wealthiest Americans and cutting needed programs and services for th e neediest Americans, who are the easiest to attack. This is social welfare for the richest people at the expense of the tax-paying middle-class citizens like me and my family. Some GOP Senators already do not support this VERY UNPOPULAR bill but do not have the courage to stand up for their constituents because they fear retrib ution from the president. I cannot imagine anything less democratic. You can be on the right side of history, as well as the side of regular Kansans, by voting NO.
