The Republican tax plan being pushed by the Trump-MAGA wing of the party would disproportionately burden single parents and low to moderate income families. It is projected to saddle single parents with an extra $200 billion in taxes over the next decade. At a time when many are struggling to make ends meet and provide for their children, increasing their tax burden is unconscionable. The wealthy and corporations must pay their fair share instead of benefiting from policies that shift the burden onto working families. I urge you to oppose this misguided tax plan and prioritize supporting hardworking Americans over further enriching the already affluent.
