I am concerned about this war of choice and Congress not stepping in the stop it. I agreed with the War Powers Act vote. However as the Administration continues to fight this war on emergency powers and exceptions Congress needs to cut to the chase and says No this is not an emergency or you can not just change the way you define the word War. They continue to commit war crimes as they carry out this bombing campaign. They are depleting our munitions and demonizing our standing in the world. The unfortunate thing is there is not a good exit strategy. We are losing “freedom of the seas” policy, our standing in the world as a trustworthy partner and are weakening our military readiness. We are losing this war. Congress needs to end it. The State department is sidelined and selfish businessmen in charge negotiations are compromised. Congress must act across the isle and block the BS of the Administration. It will only take a few members of the GOP Congress to rebalance our republic and stop this war of choice. I want to count you among them.
