A Global Call to Conscience: End the Genocide in Gaza

To: Rep. Lee, Sen. Cortez Masto, Sen. Rosen, Pres. Trump

From: A constituent in Las Vegas, NV

August 4

We are witnessing a genocide in real time. This is not hyperbole—it is the conclusion of experts, humanitarian organizations, and even Israeli human rights groups like B’Tselem and +972 Magazine’s investigative unit, Local Call. These reports document a deliberate campaign of starvation, mass displacement, and the destruction of nearly every structure required for human life in Gaza. Entire cities have been flattened. Over 85% of Gaza’s population has been forcibly displaced. Humanitarian aid is systematically blocked. More than 17,000 children are estimated to be missing, dead, or buried under rubble. This is not war. It is annihilation. International experts—including former UN officials, humanitarian observers, and legal scholars—have sounded the alarm: Israel’s actions constitute crimes against humanity. Starvation is being used as a weapon of war. Medical facilities, schools, refugee camps, and aid convoys have all been bombed. Survivors are being funneled into so-called “safe zones” only to be killed there. This cannot be allowed to continue. Not in our name. Not with our silence. Not with our tax dollars. We call on elected officials—Democrats, Republicans, Independents—to uphold basic human dignity and stop enabling genocide. This is not about politics. It is about humanity. We demand: • An immediate and permanent ceasefire • An end to all U.S. military and financial support to Israel • Immediate restoration of full humanitarian access to Gaza • Support for international investigations into war crimes and crimes against humanity • Recognition of the Palestinian right to self-determination and return We cannot claim moral leadership as a nation while we fund and shield atrocities. We cannot claim justice while ignoring the cries of starving children. This is our moment to act. To speak. To refuse complicity. Let us be clear: Standing against genocide is not antisemitism. It is a defense of life, of truth, and of our shared humanity. History is watching. The world is watching. Let us not fail them.
