Congresspeople, The US Interior Dept. has proposed a 20-year lease of more than 31 million acres off the coast of American Samoa for seabed mining, part of Trump's broader push to boost US critical minerals production. The lease will go to auction in November 2026. The Governor of Samoa has a 60-day comment period to review the proposed lease. According to one report by a sustainability non-profit, deep sea mining could cause up to 25x more damage to the world's wildlife than mining on land. They are destroying everything. This world will have no wildlife, no nature, and will be uninhabitable if this continues. Do you job and remove Trump and his entire administration. We the people will hold you accountable if you fail to act.
