It’s clear that Senate Minority Leader Schumer is going deaf at his age. We didn’t ask for more rules for already lawless ICE; we demanded it be defunded and expunged. If you support the residents of California, many of whom are immigrants, you must again remind him that the answer isn’t “more rules.” It’s “SHUT IT DOWN COMPLETELY,” and if you can’t get that, then shut the government down. Literally nothing has changed in Minneapolis since 2 Americans were executed by ICE except the face of the person commanding the atrocities. Nothing will change as long as Steven Miller and Trump are in charge, and the only way to end it is to end ICE. Please do not cave on these demands and consign California to the same fate as Minneapolis.
