This killing occurred less than a mile from where George Floyd was murdered, and it represents an unacceptable escalation of federal law enforcement violence against civilians. I demand that you immediately release a public statement condemning this killing. A masked federal agent shot and killed an American citizen in a vehicle on Wednesday. The incident was captured on video by a witness, and the footage raises serious questions about the training, qualifications, and accountability of ICE personnel operating in our communities. This was not law enforcement. This was an execution. I am calling on you to demand a full federal criminal investigation into the ICE officer who shot this woman. This investigation must be conducted by an independent body, not by ICE or the Department of Homeland Security. The officer must be identified, charged, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Additionally, I demand a comprehensive investigation into ICE tactics, training protocols, and the deployment of masked agents in American cities. The Minneapolis mayor has already told ICE to leave the city, and Governor Walz has directed messages to President Trump and Secretary Noem about this incident. Federal leadership has created an environment where agents believe they can kill American citizens with impunity. This demands accountability at the highest levels. I am demanding that you introduce or co-sponsor articles of impeachment against Secretary Kristi Noem and President Donald Trump for their roles in authorizing and enabling these deadly tactics. They have overseen the deployment of federal agents who are killing Americans in our streets. This is a constitutional crisis that requires the strongest possible response. I expect your immediate public statement and swift action on these demands. The American people are watching, and we will not accept silence or inaction while federal agents murder citizens.
