I strongly urge you to support your fellow state, Congress people in a historic and long-standing tradition to follow the Texas constitution and break quorum for a federally unconstitutional request by the most corrupt president in the United States has ever seen. Please represent Texans across the state by standing up for what is right. The right thing to do in this situation is not to show weakness in the face of American authoritarianism, even though that is a guiding force of the current Maga party. Please be a real American and give a voice to American people. Being weak and accepting the most corrupt presidential request to Texas is a threat to our Democratic republic. It is a threat to American values. It is a threat to Texas values. Please be strong for the people that you represent. Be a real cowboy and buck the authoritarian regime. You may even agree with some of the Maga parties, culture, wars, but that agreement should not come at the expense of the American people and the ideals that we all hold dear. Do not allow gerrymandering redistricting to find five Republican seats for the Texas congressional house.
