The attack on the Star and Stripes must be stopped. As a Navy veteran I appreciate that a free press is allowed to look in topics that are of concern to fighting men and women and their families. These “woke” accusations are just cover for attacking a free press which has always looked at the issues of our regular service men and women. Whenever someone doesn’t like the coverage however honest and pointed, they accuse it of being woke. This needs to stop. Star and Stripes needs to be free to operate as it always has, without political interference. Please stop these assaults on free speech and the freedom of the press.
