Now that the SAVE act has passed the house, I'm demanding you either add an amendment that allows married women to use a marriage license as a form of identification or kill this entire act. There are currently more than 50 MILLION women in the USA who would not be able to legally vote the way this act is written, and that's UNACCEPTABLE. In addition, there are too many of our active duty military, white men included, who would not be able to change their registrations while deployed, further disenfranchising voters of both parties. Frankly after so many of us have stretched our pennies to afford the stupid Real ID that we were promised would be the solution, that this act has even been introduced is an outrage. In conclusion, I am demanding as a constituent that you DO NOT support the SAVE act in its current form.
